All students, from Foundation to Grade 6 learn about sustainability during STEM classes and practise the re-use and repurpose of materials.
Cardboard and paper recycling bins are provided in all classrooms.
Student’s eating times are supervised, with no food being consumed during play, resulting in no rubish bins being required in the playground.
We encourage families to provide more Nude Food in lunchboxes to create an ongoing awareness for students in minimising rubbish.
‘Nude Food’ is food that comes to school without disposable packaging – extra plastic bags, paper bags, wrappings, cling wraps, tetra packs or disposable plastic tubs.
