In 2023, St John’s School created a greater awareness of sustainability in our school community by introducing ‘Nude Food Tuesdays’ and by providing paper and cardboard recycling boxes in all classrooms.
All students, from Foundation to Grade 6 learnt more about sustainability during STEM classes.
We encourage families to continue to provide Nude Food in lunchboxes to create an ongoing awareness for students in minimising rubbish.
‘Nude Food’ is food that comes to school without disposable packaging – extra plastic bags, paper bags, wrappings, cling wraps, tetra packs or disposable plastic tubs.
